Where I Work

Managing Partner at Launch Scout

Leading engineering teams and driving technical strategy at Launch Scout, where we build custom software solutions with a focus on Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Phoenix, and modern web technologies.

Background

Professional Philosophy

I view my role as more of a coach than a supervisor. I'm passionate about solving business problems - sometimes with software, sometimes without. I enjoy working with highly self-motivated designers and developers, and I believe we all have important things to share, even when public speaking makes us anxious.

A Bit More About Me

My first encounter with computers was playing Pac-Man as a child, and I've been fascinated by technology ever since. Outside of software, I love fixing things and giving engineered products new life—from soldering capacitors on TVs to small engine repair. I also archive old media as a hobby, preserving 5.25" and 3.5" floppies, cassette tapes, VHS, Beta tapes, and film negatives.

Let's Connect

I'm always happy to chat about software engineering, Ruby, Elixir, team leadership, or AI tools.
